Last week, we took a dip in the swamp with our farm friend Pickles, so he could show us the ropes of #swamplife<\/a>\u00a0around Alligator Alley. We weren\u2019t too nervous to hop in the swamp since we were with Pickles (he\u2019s a friendly fella). If you didn\u2019t already know, Pickles is the most popular alligator here on the farm! He\u2019s cute, fun and likes to play dress up every chance he gets. He even struck a few poses and modeled for us post-interview!<\/p>\n

Pickles is a 6-year-old alligator weighing in at about 80 pounds and measuring 5 feet long. But don\u2019t think for a second that he\u2019s not one to fight \u2013 this alligator talks the talk and walks the walk. For now, he remains the most popular of the alligators because of his vibrant style choices and friendly attitude (most of the time).<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s time for you to really get to know the real Pickles.<\/p>\n

Q: Pickles, what\u2019s the deal with the green nail polish? Where does your distinctive style come from?<\/p>\n

A: Growing up around all these alligators, I had to find a way to stand out in the crowd! Also, green is a lucky color and complements my skin tone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Q: What\u2019s your favorite outfit you\u2019ve strutted around been over the past years?<\/p>\n

A: Hmm\u2026I\u2019d have to say my Santa Claus costume or maybe my sweet tux!<\/p>\n

Q: What\u2019s your favorite part of Alligator Alley?<\/p>\n

A: I like to swim around and make friends! We even play games of Marco Polo in the swamp.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Q: How did you earn the name \u201cPickles\u201d?<\/p>\n

A: Because I LOVE to eat Pickles! When I was just a baby, I stole a cheeseburger and ate the pickles off of it. Ever since, I\u2019ve been hooked! Pickles and chow together make for the most delicious combo.<\/p>\n
